MF Husain began his pictorial career as a cinema hoarding painter. In the early 1930s, Hindi film exploded with as many as 200 movies a year and good quality painters were desperately needed on the advertisement side. Husain took this chance to look after his everyday needs. He also began to work for a toy manufacturer, where he developed and created several groundbreaking toys. He was still in touch with his Sir J. J. School of Art friends, and was looking for the right chance to contribute to the development of Indian art.

He was sued in 2006 for harming people’s sentiments for coming up with a naked portrait of Bharatmata (Mother India). The artwork was required to be withdrawn from numerous sales, and mf Husain requested an apology. The artwork was, however, later sold for Rs 80 lakh at an auction. Finally, mf Husain started collecting death threats from numerous political groups, leaving him with little alternative but to flee India.

 
After departed from india in the year 2006 spent his later years mainly in London and in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.he was eagerly try to come back but not can do so and get citizenship at qatar in 2010 and they accept it and died on 9 June 2011, in London, England, after suffering from ill health for several months. He was 95.
